Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting another COVID-19 related death.
It is the 14th in the region since the pandemic began.
The health unit dashboard also shows two new cases of COVID-19 Thursday along with 24 active cases.
There have been five recoveries since Wednesday’s report.
One of the new cases is unvaccinated and the other fully vaccinated.
Both cases are in Belleville with the causes pending.
Three people are currently in hospital with one in the ICU.
One outbreak remains ongoing, a community outbreak in the Tyendinaga and Deseronto area which is connected to a half dozen cases.
A tweet from the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte on Wednesday revealed 95 people are self isolating at this time while 74 others continue to monitor for symptoms.
And the health unit reports 81% of the local population 12 years of age and older have now received two doses of a COVID vaccine and 88% have had one shot.
