The second annual Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon for The Children’s Foundation is underway, raising money for programs and services to help local children and youth.
Seven local radio stations, including all of our Quinte Broadcasting Company stations, are taking part in the 12-hour event.
Donations can be made by calling the donation hotline at 613-921-KIDS.
There are also online auctions, giveaways, corporate challenges, a charity food truck lunch today at the TCF office and more.
Last year’s event raised $73,000 with organizers hoping to top that total this year.
The radiothon runs until 6 p.m. today.
The total raised as of 5:30 p.m. is $67,164.
