Last Thursday was a big day on the links for the East Northumberland Secondary School Blue Dragons golf team.
The young golfers hit the greens to compete in the Bay of Quinte golf championship at Barcovan Golf Club in Carrying Place.
The day was a success as the Blue Dragons took home the overall team championship.
Leading the charge for ENSS were Kendrick Webster, who shot a 77 and took home the individual championship, followed by second place Sunny Fanjoy, who shot 79 and fifth place Thomas Kuipers who shot 85.
Team coach Mr. Hussey and the golfers are competing in the COSSA championship on Wednesday, Oct. 6.
