Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee is recommending council approve rezoning of property at 240 Bethel Road to allow three small cabins to be built.
The owner of the mostly wooded property, Todd Hogan, hopes to run a small rural tourism operation with a total of four cabins.
The property already is home to a sugar bush and Christmas tree farm.
To allay neighbours’ concerns, visitors using the cabins will not be allowed to use all terrain vehicles or snowmobiles.
