Search and Rescue Technicians from 424 Squadron out of CFB Trenton were involved in the search for a missing canoeist near Dyer’s Bay north of Owen Sound.
The search also involved the OPP and Canada Coast Guard.
On Monday evening the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre Trenton twitter account sent out a tweet confirming 424 Squadron’s involvement saying that after 26 hours the search had been transferred to the OPP as a missing person case.
