Belleville police responded to 75 calls for service between 5 a.m. on September 28, 2021 and 5 a.m. on September 29, 2021.
Motor Vehicle Collision
On September 28, 2021 at 12:20 p.m., Belleville police were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision on North Front Street. Officers arrived on scene and determined there were no injuries however both vehicles were not driveable. As a result of the investigation a 42-year-old Colborne resident was charged with failing to yield to traffic on through highway.
Bail Violations
On September 28, 2021 at 9 p.m., officers responded to an east end residence regarding a loud argument. Officers arrived on scene and identified one of the involved parties as being on a number of current release conditions from outstanding charges. The male was arrested and as a result of the investigation was charged with two counts of domestic assault, three counts of failing to comply with a release order and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order. The 29-year-old Huntsville resident was held for a bail hearing on September 29, 2021.
