Belleville Police dealt with 68 calls for service between Saturday and early Sunday morning and are reporting two incidents of note.
Around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, officers were called to the east end where a man was reported to be walking out in front of cars and laying in the street.
Officers found he had had a few too many drinks through the day and took him into custody for his own safety.
The 39-year-old was held until he could leave under his own power and was charged with being drunk in public.
Then, at about 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, police say a 22-year-old driver sustained minor injuries after losing control of their car and crashing into a pole in Downtown Belleville.
The car was heavily damaged and the driver was charged with careless driving.
No names were released in either incident.
