Quinte Broadcasting is once again participating in The Children’s Foundation Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon.
The second annual radiothon will see seven local radio stations across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, including Mix 97, Rock 107 and CJBQ, come together for a 12-hour event on Wednesday, October 6.
Throughout the day there will be stories of how The Children’s Foundation has impacted the lives of local children and youth.
Listeners will be encouraged to donate by calling the donation hotline (613-921-KIDS).
There will also be online auctions, giveaways, corporate challenges, a charity food truck lunch at the TCF office and more.
Last year’s event raised $73,000.
Executive Director Kim Henry says she is confident the community will open their hearts again this year.
The 2nd Annual Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon will run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 6.
