The three ridings in our listening area have gone Tory blue.
Although the results aren’t final as mail-in ballots will be counted starting Tuesday, the major media networks have declared the winners in Bay of Quinte, Hastings-Lennox and Addington, and Northumberland-Peterborough South.
With 215 of 217 polls counted, Conservative Ryan Williams had 23,238 votes defeating Liberal Neil Ellis with 20,497 in Bay of Quinte riding.
The NDP, PPC, and Green parties finished third, fourth and fifth in that order.
In Hastings-Lennox and Addington riding, with 194 of 203 polls reporting, Conservative Shelby Kramp-Neuman had 22,563 votes defeating Liberal Mike Bossio who had 16,954.
The NDP, Green, and an Independent candidate finished third, fourth, and fifth in that order.
In Northumberland-Peterborough South, with 299 of 300 polls reporting, Conservative incumbent MP Philip Lawrence topped the polls with 29,860 votes, defeating Liberal Alison Lester who had 21,896.
The NDP, PPC, and Green candidates finished third, fourth, and fifth in that order.
