“We have 55 venues full of musical talent throughout the Old East Hill. So that’s John Street over to MacDonald and Pine Street down to Dundas. And then through the Downtown District as well.”
Dozens of entertainers will take part Saturday afternoon from 1 – 4 p.m.
And Brady says you don’t have to live in East Hill to attend this family friendly and free event.
“It’s for everybody. We’ve had lots of folks who plan visits into town to take in the event. And then of course, it’s just an opportunity for neighbours from all across the Old East Hill to get out and see each other, enjoy the beautiful architecture and beautiful neighbourhood that is the Old East Hill.”
The fun continues into Saturday night.
“And then there’s some artists that will be playing the Porchfest After Party Downtown Belleville from 4 – 7. And that’s really as a warm up to a free concert that the Downtown District is putting on featuring Road Apples which is the Tragically Hip tribute band.”
