Assault and Breaches
On September 19, 2021 at approximately 8:45 a.m., police attended a residential address in the east end regarding a male who was on conditions not to be at or near the specific residence. Officers on scene were able to successfully arrest a 21-year-old Belleville man without incident. The suspect was held for a bail hearing on September 20, 2021, for charges of assault with a weapon, three counts of fail to comply with probation and three counts of fail to comply with release order.
Overnight Thefts
On September 19, 2021, several reports of thefts from vehicles and thefts of bicycles were reported to have occurred overnight. Belleville Police are reminding residents to ensure your vehicles are locked and secure your bicycles to reduce crimes of opportunity.
