Quinte West outlined some of its upcoming developments at a meeting of the Quinte Economic Development Commission on Thursday.
Manager of Economic Development and Tourism Linda Lisle says there have been a number of new businesses opening this year and the city is working on a five acre industrial park as well.
“There’s a proposed large-scale commercial development on the Leon’s warehouse property that is currently being marketed by real estate and it will be opportunities for restaurants and retail.”
Lisle also indicated the city is working with a Toronto architect for an analysis of the former Trenton town hall building.
Quinte West has also decided to purchase a mobile sign similar to the one Belleville uses at different events.
