Prince Edward County council will explore another option to combat the parking problems in the county.
At Tuesday’s council meeting, council directed staff to review and report back on the benefits of alternate side parking in urban centres.
The motion was put forward by Councillor Brad Nieman who cited the serious problems facing the county with regards to parking.
The system would see parking allowed on one side of the roadway for the first half of the month and then would switch to the other side of the roadway for the latter half.
Council approved the motion and a report should be brought back to council in the first quarter of 2022.
