The Belleville Police Service responded to 71 calls from September 11, 2021 at 5 a.m. to September 12, 2021 at 5 a.m.
Cause Disturbance
On September 11, 2021 at approximately 1:30 p.m., police attended the south end of the city regarding a female yelling profanities outside a commercial business. Upon police arrival, they located the suspect female and arrested her for cause disturbance and fail to comply with probation. The 38-year-old Belleville woman was held for a show cause hearing on September 12.
Impaired Driving
On September 12, 2021 at 12:10 a.m., police were on general patrol in the east end of the city when they observed a traffic violation. Upon stopping the vehicle and investigating, the male driver was arrested for Impaired Operation. Twenty-six-year-old Lucas Moore of Napanee was charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and operation while impaired – over 80mg. Moore was released on an undertaking with a court date of October 14.
