Theft
Sometime overnight on September 3, 2021, unknown suspects entered a property on Benjamin St. and stole two dirt bikes. After a police investigation, one of the suspects was identified. On September 7, 2021 at 5:15 a.m. a suspect vehicle was located on Everett St. Tara Hernandez, a 30-year-old Belleville resident was arrested. She was charged with five counts of theft over $5000 and one count of mischief under $5000. She was released on an undertaking with a court date of September 30.
Theft from Vehicle
On September 7, 2021 at 8:17 a.m., police attended an address on Charles St. in regards to a theft from a vehicle. An unknown suspect entered the vehicle and removed a wallet containing a quantity of cash. There are no suspects at this time.
Theft
On September 7, 2021 at 10:13 a.m. police received a call from a person who was a victim of a theft. The victim had a trailer parked at an address on Old Hwy 2. Sometime over the last week unknown suspects entered the trailer and removed an large number of tools. There are no suspects at this time and police are continuing the investigation.
