Tuesday is going to be a bustle of activity in homes across our region.
It is back to class for tens of thousands of youngsters, including many who take a bus to class.
Gord Taylor is CEO of Tri-Board Student Transportation.
” … thousands of kids that are along the roadside, waiting, excited, perhaps distracted waiting for their school bus, so we need motorists to really be cautious.”
He adds that pandemic sanitation will also be top of mind.
“It’s twice daily sanitation of high touch surfaces in the bus. Bus drivers are wearing masks. Hand sanitizer is available for those folks that need it.”
Taylor says youngsters are to remain in their seats, and some may have to sit with siblings as well.
