Update (10:45 a.m.): Police have confirmed that the 60-year-old driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene and that he was the lone occupant of the vehicle.

Quinte West fire and OPP as well as Hastings-Quinte paramedics have been called to a very serious single vehicle collision north of Trenton.
Scanner reports indicate that just after 7 a.m. Sunday, firefighters and paramedics were called to Trenton-Frankford Road just north of Trenton for a single vehicle collision with a tree.
Early reports also say that the road is being blocked off for an investigation and detours are being set up, so motorists should avoid the area.
