It was a steady week for COVID-19 cases in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
Since last weekend there have been 40 new cases of the virus reported in the region.
As of Friday there are 38 active.
The largest single day reporting was 18 cases on Monday, however, that report included cases from the weekend.
For the most part recoveries have kept pace with the new cases and there were no patients in hospital with the virus.
The vaccination effort has remained steady with around 1,100 people receiving their first shots of a vaccine and nearly 2,000 receiving their second shot over the past eight days.
So far, 84% of HPE residents 12 and older have had their first dose and 74% are fully vaccinated.
