A fire gutted a family’s home in Tyendinaga Township early Sunday.
Township and Mohawk firefighters responded shortly after one o’clock in the morning to 55 Callaghan Road.
Neighbours had called in after hearing explosions coming from the house.
Fortunately no one was home when the incident occurred and there were no reports of injury.
An investigation continues.
