The United Way Hastings & Prince Edward is leaving its 2021 fundraising campaign in the capable and experienced hands of last year’s campaign chair.
Inspector Sheri Meeks of the Belleville Police Service will return as the campaign chair again this year.
United Way Executive Director Brandi Hodge says that because of COVID-19 the organization felt that experience leading through pandemic times was of utmost importance.
Inspector Meeks spearheaded last year’s campaign which raised over $1,950,000.
