The Belleville Police responded to 47 calls for service between August 29, 2021 at 5 a.m. and August 30, 2021 at 5 a.m .
Arrest on warrants
On August 30, 2021 at 2:30 a.m., police were on patrol on Octavia St. and observed a male walking on the sidewalk. The officer recognized the male and did a record check. The record check indicated that the male was wanted for two counts of breach of probation and one count of mischief under $5000. Josh Parks, a 36-year-old Belleville resident was arrested and later released on an undertaking with a court date of September 30.
Theft of Tools
On August 29, 2021 at 6:30 a.m., police attended an address on Johnson St. in regards to a theft. Unknown suspects entered a shed and removed a large quantity of tools. The complainant reports that the theft occurred between 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. One of the suspects was described as a thin female of average height, with long blonde hair in a ponytail, wearing a backpack and sweater.
