A former member of the Belleville Bulls has joined the coaching staff of the New York Rangers.
Forty-three-year-old Jim Midgley was one of three assistants named to the staff of Gerard Gallant.
Midgley played for the Bulls from 1996 to 1998.
He coached the Halifax Mooseheads of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and was most recently a scout with the Philadephia Flyers.
