Four new cases of COVID-19 and another outbreak were reported by Hastings Prince Edward Public Health on Friday.
There have been six recoveries so the number of active cases is actually down slightly from Thursday to 34.
Two of the new cases are in unvaccinated individuals, one is partially vaccinated and the other fully vaccinated.
The health unit dashboard indicated one case is confirmed to be outbreak-related while the causes of the other three are pending.
Two of the new cases are in Belleville with one each in Quinte West and Central Hastings.
One new case is an individual under the age of 18.
No one is being treated in hospital at this time.
The latest outbreak – which marks three active across the region – is at Caressant Care Retirement Residence in Central Hastings where there are two confirmed cases.
Eighty-three percent of the population age 12 and up in Hastings Prince Edward are at least partially vaccinated with 72% having received both shots.
Over the last seven days, 1,182 people received their first shot with 1,981 becoming fully vaccinated.
In Northumberland, the Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reported one new and three active cases on Friday.
