The Brighton Auxiliary Rescue Unit rescued some new sailors who had run aground earlier this week.
According to a press release, the unit was called to the east side of the Belleville bridge near Meyers Pier late Tuesday for reports of a grounded sailboat.
The rescue unit towed the boat off a rock and back to the harbour safely.
There were no reported injuries and there was no apparent damage to the boat.
A representative of the unit indicated that the boat was very recently purchased by brand new sailors.
