Hastings County Council is taking the fourth wave and Delta COVID-19 variant seriously.
Thursday council approved a recommendation that CAO Jim Pine draw up an official vaccination policy by
the end of September or sooner for council’s study and approval.
Several county councillors stressed the need for quick action on vaccination policy.
The policy could feature mandatory vaccinations for staff, volunteers, students, and outside contractors.
Exemptions would also be considered.
