Another local business has made a generous donation to Hospice Quinte’s Heart & Home Building Campaign.
West City Honda recently donated $50,000 in support of the new Hospice Quinte Care Centre.
Hospice Quinte Executive Director, Jennifer May-Anderson says they will recognize the contribution by naming two donor walls in the main foyer of the new centre after the dealership in honour of its founder Alfons Micke and his wife Gerlinde.
Work on the new palliative care centre on Old Highway 2 across from Bayside Secondary School is expected to be completed soon with the facility slated to open this fall.
