Another significant housing development is in the works for the west side of Trenton.
Late last week Quinte West’s Planning Advisory Committee held public meetings regarding zoning amendments and a draft Plan of Subdivision for 28 hectares (60 acres) of land south of Old Highway 2 and west of 2nd Dug Hill Road.
Klemencic homes has submitted the applications hoping to build 75 single-family homes, 28 semi-detached, and 66 townhouses on half of the property.
The development would be on municipal services and would be in the area of Trenton Christian School.
City staff will make a recommendation on the proposal at a future date.
