People overdosing on opioid drugs has become a serious problem in Northumberland County.
In Cobourg alone in the past couple of days police responded to four overdose calls within a 24-hour period.
Police suspect the victims were using the powerful opioid fentanyl.
For the month so far, the Cobourg Police Service has responded to 14 such incidents.
