An investigation into a suspected impaired driver resulted in drug charges against a passenger.
Thursday afternoon, Quinte West OPP responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on Sidney Street in Trenton.
Police located the suspect vehicle at a business on Trenton-Frankford Road.
It was determined the driver was within the legal range of alcohol but the passenger was found to be wanted by Belleville Police.
The passenger also allegedly provided false identification.
After taking them to the detachment, officers located a quantity of suspected fentanyl and Percocets in their possession.
Forty-five-year-old Michael Lisk of Belleville is charged with obstruct peace officer and two counts of possession of a schedule 1 substance.
The accused was held for a bail hearing Friday.
