The counties of Hastings, Northumberland, and Lennox and Addington are receiving extra funding from the provincial government to help support services for the vulnerable population and create affordable housing.
Hastings County will receive $1.39 million, Northumberland County $1.63 million, and Lennox and Addington will be granted almost $1.2 million.
The money locally is part of an overall $307 million announced today by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Steve Clark.
