It is official, Canadians will go to the polls to elect a federal government on Monday, September 20.
After meeting Governor General Mary Simon Sunday morning, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that she had granted his request to dissolve Parliament, marking the beginning of a 36 day election campaign.
“So in this pivotal, consequential moment who wouldn’t want a say, who wouldn’t want a chance to decide where our country goes
from here? Canadians need to choose how we continue the fight against COVID-19 and build back better.”
