Hospice Quinte says the latest gift to its Heart and Home Building Campaign is literally paving the way for hospice palliative care in the region.
Fitzgibbon Construction Ltd. donated their time and talent to pave the driveway and parking lot of the future Hospice Quinte Care Centre.
Hospice Quinte Executive Director, Jennifer May-Anderson says the gift-in-kind, worth over $34,000, will provide their visitors with ample parking and year-round access to the new facility.
Construction on the new Hospice Quinte Care Centre on Old Highway 2 across from Bayside Secondary School continues with its opening slated for this fall.
