Two young entrepreneurs are using their skills to support the Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
In 2020, 13-year-old Grace Bonn and 11-year-old Sophie Gaber started their handmade bracelet company, Beads by the Bay.
Over the last several months, they’ve been selling a special edition bracelet with plans to donate 100% of the proceeds to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
Friday, they presented BGHF with a cheque for $750.
Grace and Sophie say, “We chose to create a bracelet and donate 100% of the proceeds to the BGHF because we know how hard our health care workers have worked to get through COVID. We wanted to do our part to help where we could.”
