Two Quinte area residents are celebrating some big lottery wins.
Marshall Dominey of Trenton won $5 million dollars, the top prize in the June 2 LOTTO 6/49 draw.
Dominey, a retired mechanic says he’s played the lottery for 40 years and called his win surreal, saying, “This amount of money is life changing.”
The father and grandfather plans to share his win with his family and save some for future travel.
The winning ticket was purchased at West End Convenience on Dundas Street in Trenton.
Belleville’s Terrance Cassidy won a $100,000 top prize with INSTANT CROSSWORD TRIPLER.
The 61-year-old, a regular lottery player who had a couple of smaller wins in the past, says he was shocked when he discovered his win.
He plans to pay bills and celebrate his win with his brother and friend.
The winning ticket was purchased at Friends Variety on Sidney Street in Belleville.
