The new owner of Peter Smith GM Chev Cadillac is making a sizable donation to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
In negotiations with new dealership principal Cole Allinger, Vicki Smith, wife of the late Peter Smith, proposed Allinger donate a brand new Cadillac CT4 Sport to the foundation.
The car, worth $48,000, will be raffled off in the Car4Cancer draw.
All the proceeds will support the Dr. Douglas A. MacIntosh Cancer Clinic at Belleville General Hospital.
The donation was made in honour of Peter Smith’s legacy as a big supporter of the BGHF, of which he was a board member.
