Quinte West OPP charged a driver following a single vehicle collision on Highway 401 early Saturday morning.
OPP attended the westbound 401 at the Wallbridge Loyalist Road off ramp around 5:30 a.m. where they found a grey SUV on its roof in the ditch.
While speaking with the driver, who received minor injuries, officers detected signs of alcohol consumption and arrested them for impaired driving following a roadside screening test.
At the detachment, the accused allegedly refused to provide breath samples.
A 44-year-old from Toronto is charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand.
Their licence was also suspended for 90 days and their vehicle impounded for seven days.
