Traffic Enforcement
On July 31, 2021, at 9 p.m., police observed a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner on Dundas St W. The car was stopped near Selena Ave and investigation revealed the driver was prohibited from operating any vehicle. Thirty-six-year-old Tyler Watson of Belleville has a court date of October 7, 2021 for prohibited driving and several other traffic charges. The vehicle he was driving was impounded for 45 days.
Liquor Licence Act
On July 31, 2021, at 9:15 p.m., officers were called to Bay Bridge Rd. on the report of an extremely intoxicated male on the roadway. Officers located a 42-year-old Belleville man near the Norris Whitney Bridge. He was arrested for his own protection and charged with being intoxicated in a public place. He was held in the cells until sober enough to care for himself.
