A Belleville man is facing charges in connection with a domestic incident in the east end of the city on Wednesday night.
Belleville Police responded around 8:15 p.m. when a victim told them that her ex was inside the home and had assaulted her and her son, while also threatening to harm other people there with a weapon.
The 68-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of assault and one count each of uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He was held for a bail hearing scheduled for Thursday.
