The Department of National Defense continues to do testing, following the discovery of harmful florine and carbon chemicals in The County.
They are called poly and perfluoroalkyate substances or P-FASS compounds and they were found near the landfill at C.F.D. Mountain View.
Officials believe it may be from firefighting training and the use of foams in the past.
Government officials have tested wells and surface water of nearby landowners, and they have come in below Health Canada P-FASS guidelines, but three wells are above interim provincial values.
D.N.D. continues to offer bottled water to the affected, until third party experts can confirm if there are well issues, and whether or not they are coming from the detachment.
Metals and other substances such as benzene were also found near the landfill.
