Three people have been charged after OPP say a RIDE check led them to find some stolen property.
Lennox and Addington OPP were conducting the check around 11:30 a.m. on July 8, at Marysville Road and Waddingham Road in Tyendinaga Township, when they noticed some issues with a vehicle towing a trailer.
Police say the trailer’s load wasn’t secured properly and its licence plates weren’t on right either.
Officers found a significant amount of copper wiring and a stolen licence plate in the vehicle and arrested the three people inside.
Fifty-two-year-old Scott Drader and 49-year-old Robert Pakul, both from Greater Napanee and 32-year-old Douglas Wood of Belleville, are each charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
Wood was also charged with breaching probation.
All three men were released with court dates in Napanee in September.
