Tyendinaga Township is joining many other communities in the region and doing away with paper ballots for the next local election.
Tyendinaga Township council voted to go with internet or phone voting in the 2022 municipal election.
Information packages with information on the voting process will be mailed out well before the election and the Township will be offering locations with computer access to help those without the necessary technology to participate in the vote.
