Northumberland Hills Hospital is receiving an almost $1.5 million funding increase.
Northumberland-Peterborough South MPP David Piccini announced the funding increase.
The extra $1.49 million is a 2.8% increase on the estimated base and one-time funding received in 2020/21.
As part of the the 2021 budget, the provincial government announced a total of $1.8 billion in additional investments for Ontario hospitals in 2021/22 to support hospitals and ensure patients can access high-quality care.
