There were two more new cases of COVID-19 in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties on Monday.
The Hastings Prince Edward Public Health dashboard shows one recovery since its last report on Friday, leaving four active cases.
One of the new cases is in Central Hastings while the other is in North Hastings.
Close contact has been listed as the cause of one case with the cause of the other pending.
Local vaccinations have taken another jump.
Thirty-seven per cent of local residents age 12 and up are now fully vaccinated against COVID, up from Friday’s report of 34%.
First doses have been given to 77% of the local population.
There were no new cases in Northumberland on Monday.
Only one case remains active.
However in City of Kawartha Lakes, which the Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit also oversees, there were 17 new cases.
