The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing the cancellation of the Belleville Waterfront & Multicultural Festival for another year, however that has not stopped the Belleville and District Chamber of Commerce.
Starting Friday, they will keep the multicultural component going with the 2nd annual Curbside Culture.

“Takes place the 9th, 10th, and 11th, and there’s many locations around the city. Some of the restaurants are in different locations, north and south of the downtown area. We have some restaurants in the downtown district of course. We have some of our pop-ups on the Bay who are taking part in the festival.”
She says the Belleville Fairgrounds will also be offering us some great eats.
“There’s actually a passport that’s available, either by picking it up at the Chamber of Commerce log cabin. The passport will guide you around town. You can also enter a photo contest while you’re eating some of the foods and you can win a chance at a $100 gift card from some of the restaurants that are taking part.”
Walsh adds it is a great way to get out, have something different, and support local eateries.
“Maybe explore some countries that you have not tried before. There’s just some amazing vendors involved. A lot of people have not had the pop-up experience yet, this would be a great weekend to try that. The fairgrounds is going to be awesome.”
