Thursday is Canada Day, and that will mean some schedule changes.
The Belleville Beer Store at 167 Bell Boulevard will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., however all other Beer Stores are closed. LCBO stores are closed July 1. Convenience stores that sell alcohol may be different.
Belleville Transit will not be operating, neither will Quinte Transit in Quinte West.
Most municipalities will not be holding Canada Day events due to the pandemic, or out of respect for the unmarked graves discovered at former Residential Schools.
Municipal, provincial, and federal government offices will be closed, and no mail will be delivered by Canada Post.
You can expect the majority of retail locations, including the Quinte Mall to be closed, however pharmacies, restaurants, and select stores could be an exception. Call ahead to double check.
