One man is facing assault charges after a bizarre incident involving a guitar.
According to Belleville Police, officers were called to Cannifton Road around 4:30 p.m. Saturday for reports of a drunk man riding a bike in traffic.
When they arrived they were told the man had spat at a driver and tried to attack him with a guitar.
Police found the man and arrested him.
As a result, 47-year-old John Oickle of Belleville is facing one charge of assault.
He was released with a court date set for August 12.
