Belleville has announced its recreation programs for the summer as COVID-19 lockdowns relax somewhat.
The Recreation, Culture and Community Services department has announced Session A runs from July 3 to July 30, with Session B running in August.
Registration is available through the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre website and by telephone at the centre.
Programs have been planned around existing provincial restrictions and with public health safety protocols in mind.
Summer Session “A” and “B” feature:
- Fitness classes offered in-person at local parks and through Zoom
- Children and youth programs offered in-person at local parks, St. Theresa field and through Zoom
- Swimming lessons, Aqua Fit and Advanced Aquatic Leadership programs offered at Kinsmen Community Outdoor Pool
- Fun on the Phone program for older adults offered in collaboration with the Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centres and the Quinte West Public Library
- Free Speaker Series and Learn and Create programs offered through Zoom
