With COVID-19 subsiding, non-urgent surgery is again being performed at Trenton Memorial and Belleville General hospitals.
Since the last shutdown of non-urgent surgeries in April because of the pandemic, Quinte Health Care had to postpone 398 procedures.
However QHC has a plan to catch up on elective surgeries and it’s expected that endoscopies will again be done at Prince Edward County Memorial by the end of August.
