The league that oversees the Wellington Dukes and Trenton Golden Hawks have announced a season starting this fall.
Due to the pandemic, the Ontario Junior Hockey League, and almost all leagues coast to coast, under the Canadian Junior Hockey League umbrella, never got off the ground last year.
Over the weekend the league’s Board of Governors met, and approved a full 54-game season.
Instead of starting in September, it will launch October 1.
Last season, the Dukes and G-Hawks were each able to play exhibition games.
The two clubs met 17 times, with Trenton playing an additional two games against Lindsay.
No schedule is known at this time.
Neither Wellington or Trenton have laid out the percentage of fans allowed at the games, or their COVID-19 protocols.
