Parking by-law officers in Prince Edward County have been busy recently.
County staff tell Quinte News that as of the end of last weekend, the by-law department had issued 116 parking tickets in seasonal no-parking zones.
During the last three weeks more than 800 warning tickets have been handed out.
The parking warnings and tickets were issued primarily at water access points, with the highest number of infractions in the North Beach area around County Road 27.
Parking has been a major issue during the pandemic as tourists have been flocking to the County.
Under a recently passed tourism management by-law, parking tickets in certain areas could cost up to $400.
